Is Conan still worth playing in 2026?

Adapted from the world of Conan the Barbarian, this hack and slash stages the famous warrior in a string of bloody battles and brawny action scenes. The violent heroic fantasy mood and the joy of carving through enemies work for a while, but the combat system stays repetitive, the camera fickle and the presentation average. The game struggles to rise above the status of an honest God of War clone. For Conan fans and lovers of unpretentious barbarian action, it offers a decent outlet, quickly forgotten against the genre's references.
