A gun shooter that glides beautifully, built for arcade sessions in pairs. Snappy staging, varied levels and high score chases that beg for another run. Brilliant in company.

Is Confidential Mission still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2001, this Sega rail shooter extends the Virtua Cop spirit into a breezy espionage plot. The light gun, the cover and the scripted sequences chain firefights with exemplary readability. The defusing mini games and the branching paths renew interest with each run. The short length, typical of the genre, and the dependence on the peripheral limit access today, yet fans of light gun shooting and the nostalgic for Sega arcade rediscover a snap and a staging that still work very well.
