A Japanese platformer with a cool skunk on a retro adventure. Charming 2D sprites, simple gameplay, short levels. Released late on PS1 in a genre already dominated by 3D platformers, anecdotal today.

Collector interest

A 2D platformer from Visit that never left Japan, a late salvage of an abandoned SNES project (released in the West as Punky Skunk, a distinct version). The Japanese PS1 pressing is genuinely hard to find sealed, and that scarcity alone drives the price: underlying demand stays thin since the game is no genre landmark. An archival 2D curiosity for obscurity hunters rather than a coveted piece.
