Collector interest

The North American version of Coraline arrived in 2009 as the PS2 lived out its final US-market months, explaining a particularly small print run and a fleeting shelf presence. Scarcer still than the PAL edition, the complete American box reaches peak figures within the late movie-tie-in collecting market. The value reflects no play merit but the combined effect of an extreme end-of-cycle release and a very small original audience.
