Ruffian Games picks up the formula and bolts on zombies and a slightly sicker world, just without the spark. Pulverising Pacific City still feels great, the ideas are simply a touch too safe to leave a real mark.

An open world action game from Ruffian Games, Crackdown 2 sends a superpowered agent back into the vertical Pacific City, where collecting orbs boosts strength, jump and weapons to leap from roof to roof and blow everything up. The exhilarating pleasure of climbing and power growth stays intact, elevated by four player co-op. The recycling of the first game's map and repetitive objectives disappoint. A good game for fans of open world mayhem and superpowers to share on Xbox 360.
