Description
GBA sequel to Crash Bandicoot, developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Vivendi Universal Games in Europe in March 2003. N. Trance hypnotizes Crash's friends and they must be faced as bosses to free them. Over thirty 2D platform levels including underwater stages and jet-ski levels, improved tornado spin power, multiple bosses and two-player cooperative mode via link cable. Increased challenge level compared to the first GBA episode.

Is Crash Bandicoot 2 - N-Tranced still worth playing in 2026?
A GBA sequel to Crash Bandicoot, N-Tranced carries Vicarious Visions' corridor platforming and adds new mechanics, varied levels and hypnotized friends to free as bosses. The presentation stays solid and the snappy gameplay still pleases, faithful to the series' spirit. The whole lacks standout novelties, though, and stays fairly short. A good pocket platformer for Crash fans and lovers of effective platform action, in the direct line of the first GBA entry.
