First Crash Bandicoot on GBA, a successful 2D adaptation of the famous marsupial. Gameplay is true to the spirit of the series. Pleasant and well-paced for a handheld.

Description
First Crash Bandicoot platform game on GBA, developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Vivendi Universal Games in Europe in March 2002. Neo Cortex has shrunk the Earth to microscopic size with a shrinking ray and Crash must travel to orbit to stop him. Twenty-six 2D platform levels with crates to smash, ten original bosses including Dingodile and Tiny Tiger, protective Aku Aku masks, gems and crystals to collect.
Is Crash Bandicoot XS still worth playing in 2026?
The first Crash Bandicoot on GBA, The Huge Adventure brilliantly transposes the series' 3D platforming into pocket-sized corridors, with races, jetpack levels and colorful bosses. Vicarious Visions delivers a technical showing stunning for the machine and faithful, snappy, precise gameplay. The content stays a bit short and the formula lacks surprise. An excellent handheld platformer that has aged well, worth recommending to Crash fans and lovers of demanding platform action on GBA.
