A Crash platformer with an original approach blending Crash and Cortex worlds in shared levels. The hybrid gameplay is inventive and characters endearing. One of the best post-Naughty Dog Crash entries with genuine creative highlights despite some flaws.

Description
A 2004 Traveller's Tales platformer that throws Crash into an unlikely buddy comedy with his nemesis, Cortex. Looser, funnier and more experimental than earlier Crash games, it has earned a real cult status despite a famously truncated development.

Is Crash Twinsanity still worth playing in 2026?

An action platformer from Traveller's Tales, Crash Twinsanity, released in Japan as Crash Bandicoot 5, takes the bandicoot into a zany adventure where he must reluctantly team up with his arch enemy Cortex. The offbeat humour, the original sequences such as the two character ball and the colourful art direction make it an endearing, inventive entry. The original bugs and a wayward camera weigh it down. A good platform game for Crash fans, lovers of cartoon humour and relaxed 3D platforming on PS2.
