Xbox-exclusive sci-fi Musou developed by Koei. Mass gameplay in a space universe, aliens to eliminate in hordes. Unsurprising for genre fans but decent in execution. For Musou fans seeking a sci-fi setting on Xbox.

Original Japanese version of Crimson Sea, a Koei action title conceived for the Xbox and the first entry of a short series, released under the title Kurenai no Umi. The NTSC-J copy is the original strike of a Koei title atypical in its strategy-dominated catalogue. Desirability rests on this status as the Japanese source of an action-oriented Koei production on a console little present in Japan, sought by enthusiasts of the studio.
