Raising armies and waging great medieval Japanese battles fills long hours, between troop management, tactical manoeuvres and scripted events punctuated by CD cutscenes. Conquest is earned campaign after campaign, without haste. That strategic density, supported by the CD medium's staging, offers a generous length to fans of the genre.
