Is Dakar 2 still worth playing in 2026?
Under official license of the Dakar rally raid, Dakar 2 offers off road races across deserts and rough tracks, at the wheel of motorbikes, quads, cars and trucks. The mix of arcade speed and demanding terrain has a certain character, faithful to the spirit of the legendary event. The physics stays rudimentary, though, the opponents' intelligence limited and the presentation average. For rally raid fans and the curious about the Dakar license, it offers a pleasant off road change of scenery in short sessions, without the finesse of the racing references.
