The first Wii salvo of Konami's dance series, Hottest Party adapts Dance Dance Revolution to the console by combining mat steps with remote and Nunchuk gestures. The immediate physical fun, the varied tracklist and the multiplayer mode make it an excellent party game, still effective for getting a group moving. The reliance on the dance mat for the full experience and a sober production limit the solo appeal. A rhythmic party game for dance fans and lively evenings.
