First DDR Universe on the 360, with a generous setlist heavy on J-pop and dance tracks. The series' classic flow works beautifully, making this a great jumping-on point if you want to get into arcade dancing on the console.

Is Dance Dance Revolution Universe still worth playing in 2026?
An entry in Konami's Dance Dance Revolution Universe series on Xbox 360, this first Western entry is played on a dance mat following arrows with your feet to the music's tempo. As the first entry built for the Western market, it lays the foundations with a selection of pop licences and an adventure mode. The energy, the coordination challenge and the physical release make it a good two player rhythm game. The need for a dedicated mat, a Western leaning tracklist and a simple production limit access today. A title for fans of footwork rhythm and active release on the console.
