Danny Sullivan's Indy Heat adapts the Leland IndyCar arcade racing on Tradewest NES with the star driver on American circuits in top down view. The representation offers races up to three players, pit stops and vehicle rebuilding in a multiplayer arcade port formula. Honest for NES racing fans in the 8 bit Tradewest production vein.

The PAL release of this conversion of Leland's coin-op arrived in 1992 in very limited numbers, as Europe was already shifting toward 16-bit racers. Tradewest's simultaneous multiplayer on oval tracks keeps it playable, but the scarcity of the European pressing, far less widely distributed than the North American cart, drives the steep complete-in-box pricing.
