First Darksiders remake with visual improvements on WiiU. Zelda-like action-adventure remains solid. Good way to (re)discover War and the Four Horsemen universe. Less graphically impressive than other versions but complete.

Is Darksiders - Warmastered Edition still worth playing in 2026?
A remaster of Vigil Games' first Darksiders, the Warmastered Edition follows the horseman War through an apocalypse blending action, Zelda style dungeon exploration and snappy God of War combat. Joe Madureira's art direction, the progression through power acquisition and the imposing bestiary remain striking. This version polishes the resolution and the framerate without reinventing anything. An excellent action adventure for fans of structured hack and slash and dark fantasy worlds.
