Description
Capcom action where Chuck Greene survives zombies in Fortune City casino using improvised weapons. Published by Capcom, released in Asia in September 2010. Combo weapons built from two items, massive zombie horde, online co-op mode and timer management. Asian version.
Asian edition of Capcom's Dead Rising 2, the sequel to the timed open-world zombie-slaying action-adventure. Well received, it keeps a loyal audience, but this Asian pressing saw far less distribution than the Western versions, now hard to find physically. Value lies in the regional scarcity of a well-liked series entry, more than in any content singularity.
Is Dead Rising 2 still worth playing in 2026?
A sequel to Capcom's action game, Dead Rising 2 lets ex-biker Chuck Greene loose in a leisure complex overrun by thousands of zombies, to fight with wild combined weapons in a race against time to find his daughter's antidote. The cobbled-together weapon system, the staggering density of the hordes and the offbeat humour make the title's identity, which the Off the Record variant reinvents with Frank West. The stressful time management divides opinion. A good action game for fans of creative, zany zombie slaughter.
