Is Dicey Dungeons still worth playing in 2026?

Dicey Dungeons turns a simple idea, dice slotted into action cards, into a roguelike of remarkable variety. Each character imposes its own rules, sometimes the opposite of the others, so mastering one barely helps with the next. The runs are short, ideal on the go, and the depth comes from the roll and the combinations more than from length. The colorful look and game-show humor lighten the mechanics. A few runs lean a bit too hard on luck, but the whole stays clever and generous. An excellent thinking roguelike that has aged very well.
