Bandai Namco copies the animated series right down to its framing: the same character proportions, the same colour charts per creature, and shots rebuilt identically at key moments. The evolution sequences take up the television editing, with its abstract backgrounds and succession of silhouettes.
The animated series' themes return reorchestrated for a larger ensemble: doubled brass, added strings and a children's choir where the television version made do with synthesisers. The evolution pieces keep their three-step climb, at exactly the point where the viewer expected them.
Complete: box, manual and disc/cart very clean. Lightly handled.

An action RPG from Bandai Namco, Digimon Adventure faithfully adapts the original anime series, following Tai, Matt and their Digimon partners from File Island to the real world, through exploration, combat and evolutions. The faithfulness to the cult story, the nostalgic mood and the joy of reliving the anime's arcs make it an endearing title for fans, in an RPG kept Japanese. The linear structure and the language barrier limit access. An estimable pick for Digimon nostalgics and fans of anime RPG.
