Is Digimon Battle Chronicle still worth playing in 2026?

Adapted from the Digimon franchise, Battle Chronicle offers arena battles pitting a large number of digital monsters from the various series against each other, in fast three dimensional clashes. The huge cast will please fans, but the combat system stays simple and repetitive, and the presentation modest. The lack of depth and the language barrier limit interest outside the target audience. For Digimon fans and anime nostalgics, it offers a pleasant party fighter among the initiated, especially in a group.
