Codemasters removes the menus: you navigate inside a motorhome, stickers on the fridge, trophies on the shelf, pinned invitations, and the camera steps out of the vehicle into the paddock among X-Games flags and banners. That diegetic interface, shaken and alive, installs American rally's festival culture before the first start, orange dust included.
The soundtrack is a festival's: late-2000s indie rock and heavy bass, tracks that keep spinning faintly inside the motorhome like a distant paddock PA. In the race, the mix hands priority back to engines and gravel, then the playlist reclaims its rights when you return to camp, tracing the rhythm of a real competition weekend.
North American (NTSC-U) edition of Codemasters' festive-energy off-road racer, dressing rally and rallycross in a stylish interface and a sponsored-party vibe. Widely distributed in the US, its appeal stays low and rests on this polished presentation and a certain period charm rather than scarcity.
