Discworld sequel with an even zanier narrative centred on Death. The port is better than the first and the humour sharper. The better entry point for the series on Saturn.

Discworld II continues the point and click adventure adapted from Terry Pratchett and voiced by Eric Idle, here in a multilingual PAL Saturn edition published by Psygnosis. On a Western console with a small base, sidelined by adventure publishers in favour of PC and PlayStation, this port stayed scarce at retail. Its appeal rests on the relative rarity of graphic adventures on Saturn and the lasting devotion to Discworld.

Is Discworld II - Missing Presumed...! still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to Psygnosis' point and click, Discworld II - Missing Presumed...! sends the wizard Rincewind back into Terry Pratchett's Discworld, this time to bring back Death gone on holiday, in an adventure with settings entirely redrawn in quality cartoon animation. The absurd humour, the tasty writing and the shimmering production outclass the first game, even if the puzzles stay sometimes tricky. Eric Idle's voice extends the charm. For a fan of humorous retro adventure, a Pratchett fan or someone curious about an offbeat world, the title keeps a remarkable humour and finish.
