PS1 adaptation of Disney's Hercules as a 2D platformer, here in its Italian edition titled Disney Presenta Hercules. A family licence game with no cult following, its value rests only on now-scarce sealed stock, the original Italian sleeve being less common than the English or French pressings. Loose it remains a very ordinary, cheap licensed platformer.
Is Disney Action Game Disney Presenta Hercules still worth playing in 2026?
A platformer drawn from the Disney film, this action game stages Hercules across snappy levels mixing sword combat and colourful scrolling faithful to the cartoon. The dazzling art direction, the digitised characters and the brisk pace make it a pleasant, spectacular platformer for its time. The high difficulty and a fairly classic gameplay limit the depth. A charming title to recommend for Disney fans and lovers of 90s licensed platformers on PlayStation.
