French version of Disney's Hercules on PS1, a 2D platformer titled Disney Présente Hercule, released in 1997. A faithful but non-cult family adaptation, its value rests solely on now-uncommon sealed stock. The French packaging with localised text sets this edition apart from other PAL pressings, yet loose the game stays a widespread, cheap licensed platformer.
Is Disney Jeu d'Action Disney Presente Hercule still worth playing in 2026?
A platformer drawn from the Disney film, this action game stages Hercules across snappy levels mixing sword combat and colourful scrolling faithful to the cartoon. The dazzling art direction, the digitised characters and the brisk pace make it a pleasant, spectacular platformer for its time. The high difficulty and a fairly classic gameplay limit the depth. A charming title to recommend for Disney fans and lovers of 90s licensed platformers on PlayStation.
