Released in 2000, this platformer drawn from the animated series sends Buzz Lightyear against Emperor Zurg through colourful science fiction levels. Shooting, jumping and platforming chain together at a pace built for a young audience. The art direction faithful to the cartoon and the general energy work well in that spirit. The repetition of the mechanics and a measured challenge limit the appeal for seasoned players, yet families and fans of the Toy Story world find an accessible, colourful adventure.
