A gaming sequel to The Incredibles, Rise of the Underminer extends the story beyond the film by pitting Mr. Incredible and Frozone against the Underminer's subterranean threat, in a co-op action game. The hero duo with complementary powers works well in two, and the pace is brisker than the previous game. The formula stays repetitive, though, the level design linear and the presentation average. For fans of The Incredibles and lovers of unpretentious co-op brawling, it offers honest entertainment, especially in two.
