Built on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater engine, Extreme Skate Adventure transposes the skating formula into Disney and Pixar worlds, from The Lion King to Tarzan and Toy Story. The trick and combo system, inherited from a master of the genre, works well and stays smooth and accessible. The family wrapping and the lack of aggressive scoring steer it toward a younger audience. For fans of arcade skating and of these Disney worlds, it offers a surprisingly successful marriage, pleasant and colorful, still enjoyable to play today.
