Is Disney's The Haunted Mansion still worth playing in 2026?
Inspired by the Disney attraction and film The Haunted Mansion, this action adventure plunges the hero into a haunted manor he must clear of ghosts using a light lantern, in a top down view. The good natured gothic atmosphere and the principle of exorcism by light have a certain charm, but the gameplay stays repetitive and the progression mechanical. The presentation is decent and no more. For fans of the famous attraction's world and the curious about an atmospheric adaptation, it offers a pleasant haunted romp, without much depth.
