Standalone Doom 3 expansion with new weapons and enemies. The Double Shotgun is a welcome addition. Less atmospheric than the original but offers solid extra content for fans. An honorable sequel to the excellent Doom 3.

A Martian base plunged into darkness, shadows computed in real time and a flashlight for sole ally: the game makes darkness its principle of dread. The realism of the textures and the demonic design compose an oppressive science-fiction horror. This visual direction, dark and technical, pushed the limits of rendering of its era.
Complete: box, manual and disc/cart very clean. Lightly handled.

Is Doom 3 - Resurrection of Evil still worth playing in 2026?
An expansion of id Software's Doom 3 ported to Xbox, Resurrection of Evil extends the horror through the dark corridors of Mars by adding the Grabber inspired by the gravity gun and the double barrelled shotgun. The oppressive mood, the play of shadows and the tense pace stay effective, faithful to the original's nerve wracking spirit. The narrow corridors and the flashlight versus weapon formula date it a little. A good horror FPS for fans of snappy shooting in the dark and of the Doom saga.
