Another edition of the Sonic Advance and ChuChu Rocket! pack, under a different product reference. Excellent content from both games, still just as recommended. One of the best GBA packs.

Two opposite flavours on one cartridge: on one side the pure speed of the blue hedgehog, on the other the mischievous chaos of mice to steer toward their rockets. One thrills with its edge, the other with its tactical frenzy, especially with friends. This duality wards off any boredom and fits in a pocket. A clever duo for alternating sprint and puzzle.

Japanese edition of the Sonic Advance and ChuChu Rocket double pack on a single GBA cartridge, released in July 2002 under the Double Pack name, set apart from the European PAL bundle by cover and obi. The pairing of two Sega titles from different studio origins makes it within the Japanese catalogue a rare editorial curiosity, seldom picked up in standard JP resale listings. Sega Japan run was short, with an identifiable Double Pack marked obi.
Better with friends
A two-in-one pack whose multiplayer gem is a frantic puzzler where you steer mice toward your base while trapping your rivals. Up to four, chaos is king: a well-placed arrow diverts a flood of mice at the worst moment and sets off shouts and laughter. Accessible in seconds, it triggers absurd reversals and express rivalries you love to restart right away.
Is Double Pack - Sonic Advance & ChuChu Rocket! still worth playing in 2026?
This late compilation pairs Sonic Advance, the first confidently realized 2D Sonic on GBA by Dimps, with ChuChu Rocket signed Sonic Team, a frantic puzzler about guiding mice toward rockets while keeping cats away. Both titles still deserve a recommendation today. Sonic Advance for its controlled sense of speed and clean level design, ChuChu Rocket for its chains of challenges and its local multiplayer mode. A solid two faced pick filling a single cartridge slot.
