Media Kite and Atari action-platformer covering Goku's earliest adventures. Pointer and nunchuk combat, manga-faithful levels, kid-friendly vibe. Solid for young Dragon Ball fans, well off the more complete 3D Budokai games.

2009 Bandai Namco action-adventure, Japan-exclusive, revisiting the first Dragon Ball saga in cel-shaded style in a more exploratory register than the series' fighting games. Known in the West as Revenge of King Piccolo, its original Japanese pressing is sought by franchise fans who favor the source version. Desirability rests on that uncommon adventure-spin-off status, distinct from the arena vein, within the Dragon Ball Wii catalog.

Is Dragon Ball - Tenkaichi Daibouken still worth playing in 2026?

A 2.5D action game from Media.Vision, Revenge of King Piccolo revisits early era Dragon Ball arcs, from the tournament to the fight against Piccolo Daimao, blending platforming, brawling and gesture mini games on the remote. The tone faithful to the original manga, the lively pace and the staging of the clashes please connoisseurs. Repetition and an uneven production temper the enthusiasm. An endearing title for Dragon Ball fans nostalgic for the original saga and lovers of arcade action.
