The second Butouden refines the formula, faster and fuller. A DBZ versus classic, still very playable in coop.

Is Dragon Ball Z - Super Butouden 2 still worth playing in 2026?

The second Super Butouden noticeably refines the formula, covering the Cell arc with Trunks and Cell playable. Faster, fuller and better balanced than the first, it delivers clearer ki clashes and a wider roster. It is arguably the most enjoyable Butouden to fire up today, especially in versus where the two-plane mechanic truly clicks. A classic of DBZ fighting on 16-bit, still very playable with friends despite its age.
