The added island overturns the game's palette: after green plains and sunlit roads, you descend into a dungeon of black stone streaked with chains, where the only light sources are braziers and bluish crystals. The creatures there are larger than the corridors housing them, and the architecture, cells, ossuaries and bottomless shafts, tells of a prison rather than a temple.
The added dungeon imposes its own sonic regime: no more heroic themes, only low pads, amplified water drops and distant breathing that matches no visible enemy. Music intervenes only for major confrontations, so silence becomes the normal state of a place the base game did not know.
