DreamWorks film adaptation (Madagascar, Shrek, Flushed Away, etc.). Action-adventure for young players, film-faithful themed levels, accessible gameplay. Decent execution but no personality, target audience is young children. Of no particular interest otherwise.

Is DreamWorks Shrek - SuperSlam still worth playing in 2026?

A party fighter under the Shrek license, SuperSlam gathers the DreamWorks franchise's characters in arena fights of up to four, in the spirit of Super Smash Bros. style melees. The wacky special attacks, destructible scenery and the license's humor work well in family multiplayer. The system does lack depth, though, and the presentation stays average. For Shrek fans and lovers of convivial fighting among friends, it offers a colorful, fun multiplayer outlet, with little lasting interest in solo.
