Duke Nukem 3D adapts the cult Apogee FPS to Mega Drive despite considerable 16 bit constraints. The conversion is technically impressive but gameplay suffers from limited fluidity and reduced field of view. Technical curiosity for retro FPS fans, without reaching PC versions.

Collector interest

Mega Drive port of Duke Nukem 3D, a Brazilian exclusive released by TecToy in 1998, years after the console had ended everywhere else. Its collector interest is considerable given the anomaly: seeing a late PC FPS run on a 16-bit machine is an improbable technical feat, and the object became a legend among the machine's curiosities. A small local print, absolute exclusivity and textbook-case notoriety make it a prized target well beyond Brazil.
