The Japanese edition of Ecco Defender of the Future is the original Appaloosa pressing in Japan, with a more subtle domestic sleeve than the Western versions. Collector value rests on the regional scarcity of the Japanese print: Ecco being little known in Japan, the local pressing stayed particularly short, paradoxically making the JP version the hardest to find complete.
