A modest retro point and click with a strange, lonely mood. Puzzles stay minimal, the tone is singular and the trip is short but intriguing. A likeable indie curiosity.

Is Elansar still worth playing in 2026?
Elansar brings the Myst formula to Dreamcast from outside official channels, with its deserted alien world and contemplative riddles. The art direction, built on strange static scenes and a silent mood, keeps a certain charm today. The pace stays slow and the sometimes opaque puzzles call for patience. People come back to it mostly out of curiosity for the console's homebrew scene and for that enigmatic atmosphere, rather than for a truly memorable adventure experience.
