Japanese racing simulation focused on driving realism. Vehicle physics are precise and driving feel authentic. Less accessible than Gran Turismo but appreciated for its depth. A good alternative for pure simulation fans on PS2.

Description
A Konami racing sim released in 2005, designed as a more instructional alternative to Gran Turismo. An "Enthu" rating system based on clean driving, a very demanding physics model and over 200 real-world cars: a serious sim — perhaps too serious for its audience.

Is Enthusia - Professional Racing still worth playing in 2026?

A racing simulation from Konami, Enthusia Professional Racing leans on a sharp driving physics and an original system rewarding clean driving style rather than mere victory, with a vast roster of licensed cars. The realism of the model, the demand of the racing line and the mechanical richness appeal to simulation purists, who saw it as an alternative to Gran Turismo. The austere presentation and a steep learning curve put off. A good simulation for fans of realistic driving.
