Story
"Anecdotal"
The scenery deforms under the wheels, and that is the whole subject. Monster Games raises the earth in real time, swells a hill in front of the bonnet, digs out a ravine, and you literally watch the relief being sculpted during the race. The bodywork, painted in heavily saturated flat colour, stays identifiable at full speed among folds of terrain that did not exist a second earlier.

"From the very first seconds"
Tilting the remote to pilot huge trucks launched at full speed, jumping hills and defying gravity in supercharged races: this arcade racer bets everything on sensation and excess. Skimming a crash, chaining stunts and scoring points in mid-air delivers an instant rush. Snappy, spectacular and gleeful, an automotive blow-off without the slightest fuss.

Is Excite Truck still worth playing in 2026?

An arcade racing game from Monster Games, Excite Truck leans on speed, oversized jumps and morphing terrain, steered by tilting the Wiimote like a wheel. The sense of freedom, the scoring system rewarding daring stunts and the immediate snappiness make it a very successful blast for the console's launch. Repetitive tracks and limited content cap the lifespan. A joyful arcade racer for fans of fast thrills and motion driving.
