Collector interest
GBA reissue of Xevious in the Famicom Mini collection, a look back at the 1984 Namco vertical shooter that durably marked the genre with its continuous scenery and its air-ground firing system. Its Famicom port was a bestseller that helped establish the console, and this reissue perpetuates its memory in a miniature box. Its collecting interest rests on this status as a pillar of the Japanese shmup and on the title's place in the Famicom anniversary line.
