Fighting game based on the Fate/Stay Night visual novel universe. The Servants and Masters roster is faithful to the licence. Gameplay is accessible for fans but lacks the depth expected by genre purists. Successful fan service but limited for outsiders.

Is Fate-Unlimited Codes still worth playing in 2026?

A 2D fighting game from Capcom and Cavia drawn from the Fate franchise, Fate-Unlimited Codes pits the servants and masters of the Fate world in snappy duels with destructible settings and spectacular signature attacks. The fidelity to the characters, the technical combat system and the visual energy appeal to fans of the licence and lovers of Japanese versus. The reach beyond that audience stays limited. A fighting game to recommend for Fate fans and lovers of polished 2D anime versus.
