A Square Enix action RPG extending the Crystal Chronicles branch, Echoes of Time blends dungeon exploration, real time combat and co-op for up to four players, with a possible link to the DS version. The combinable magic system, the bright heroic fantasy mood and the pleasure of group play are its strengths. The repetitive structure and a low key story limit the enthusiasm solo. A likeable action RPG for fans of co-op and of the Crystal Chronicles series.
