A Square compilation gathering the remakes of the first two Final Fantasy games, Origins offers a fine gateway to the saga's roots, with enhanced graphics, cutscenes, reorchestrated music and art galleries. Being able to play the founding entry and its successor with its very particular system back to back illuminates the studio's evolution. The structures stay very classic and the grinding pronounced. A heritage anthology to recommend for fans of Japanese RPGs and the curious about Final Fantasy's origins.
