FFXI Online Chains of Promathia expansion. A more mature story and demanding dungeons. Arguably the saga's best narrative, but hardcore.

For this first online Final Fantasy, Naoshi Mizuta, Nobuo Uematsu and Kumi Tanioka sign an orchestral score of rare breadth, from the majestic title theme to the melodies of Vana'diel. The music wraps exploration and shared adventure in an epic, warm gust. This symphonic richness left its mark on a whole community.

Plunging Vana'diel into a darker tale, the Chains of Promathia expansion adds fresh areas and missions with fiendish mechanics. Progressing through that demanding storyline, levelling your jobs and cooperating in a party extends the MMORPG by dozens of hours. That dark, tough add-on, grafted onto an endless world, sustains a longevity regulars savour.
