In its Japanese form, First Samurai stands as the Super Famicom edition of an Amiga-rooted conversion, complete with its SFC cardboard box and spine card. It is the most fitting iteration for an unabashedly Japanese fantasy mood, and Japan often remains the most accessible source for this title. An intact spine card and clean cardboard make the difference for the import collector, while the loose cartridge trades cheaply.
