Midway aerial racing. Wacky planes, humorous races in an aerial Mario Kart style, four-player multi. Decent execution, simple fun gameplay. Pleasant aerial alternative to Mario Kart without reaching its level.

Is Freaky Flyers still worth playing in 2026?

An arcade air racer from Midway, Freaky Flyers pits a cast of cartoonish pilots across zany circuits packed with weapons and shortcuts, like a kart racer at the controls of planes. The offbeat humour, the polished voice acting and the adventure mode pleasantly surprise, despite occasionally fickle handling. The salt comes from snappy, chaotic multiplayer races. For a fan of unbuttoned arcade or someone nostalgic for offbeat kart racers, the title keeps a definite fun value.
