Action-adventure game based on Matt Groening's animated series. Futurama's humour and iconic characters are well present. Gameplay is decent without being exceptional. A pleasant fan service for series admirers who will enjoy finding Fry and Leela in game.

Description
An action-adventure by Sierra and Unique Development Studios released in 2003, based on Matt Groening's animated series. The original cast voices Fry, Bender, Leela and Zapp in a tasty mix of 3D platforming, driving and mini-games. Heavy on fan service.

Vivendi Universal's Futurama turns Matt Groening's series into a platform-action game carrying the original show's voices and humour. The North American title shipped in modest numbers and was never reissued, making it one of the hardest licensed PS2 objects to find sealed. Its high value combines steady demand from fans of the series with a genuinely thin supply on the US market.

Is Futurama still worth playing in 2026?

A Fox action adventure drawn from the animated series, Futurama has you play Fry, Leela, Bender and the Professor in turn across varied levels mixing platforming, shooting and character specific segments. The fidelity to the series' humour, the original voice acting and the polished art direction appeal to fans. The gameplay uneven across segments and an average production cap the interest. A title to recommend mainly to fans of the animated series and the curious about polished licensed adaptations.
