Shooting game where you shoot at girls to make them fall in love. Quirky and unapologetic Japanese fan service concept. Absurd fun for fans of wacky Japanese gameplay.

A questionable morality

Fending off swarms of schoolgirls suddenly mad with love using a “pheromone shot” meant to send them into ecstasy is about as improbable a concept as they come. Billed as a delirious romantic comedy, the game turns flirting into a frankly suggestive shooting gallery, an openly owned gap you approach tongue-in-cheek, half-embarrassed and half-amused by so much good-natured cheek.

Is Gal Gun - Double Peace still worth playing in 2026?

A rail shooter from Inti Creates, Gal Gun - Double Peace stages an irresistibly attractive high schooler who must fend off hordes of lovestruck students with pheromone shots, in a romantic comedy of unbridled fan service. The rail shooting gameplay, simple but snappy, serves a deliberately absurd and owned provocative tone. The offbeat humour and the delirious staging make up most of the appeal, very targeted. For someone curious about eccentric Japanese output or a fan of the unabashed genre, the title keeps a specific personality and energy.
