Ambitious entry with back plane dodge system but mixed results. Reduced roster and shaky balance. Pretty to watch but not the peak of the classic trilogy.

The Rev 1 revision of the international version of Fatal Fury 3 on the Neo Geo CD, a World variant distinct from the Export and Japanese pressings. Its desirability rests on that specific zone-and-revision profile, which completes the panorama of this entry's variants, and the affordable access the disc gave. Methodical collectors seek it to tell apart every edition of this major SNK fighter on the format.

Is Garou Densetsu 3 - Road to the Final Victory ~ Fatal Fury 3 - Road to the Final Victory still worth playing in 2026?

Garou Densetsu 3, alias Fatal Fury 3, evolves SNK's saga with a three-plane combat system and a tight but memorable roster, led by Terry Bogard against the Jin brothers. The polished animation, striking character design and the depth of the bouts make it a pivotal entry, more technical and accomplished than its predecessors. The reduced roster was debated at launch. For fans of retro SNK versus fighting and the Fatal Fury universe, it is an important landmark of the series, rich and pleasant to play.
