Is Gauntlet II still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to the dungeon classic, Gauntlet II carries the four-adventurer cooperative exploration, enriching dungeons, enemies and items, in the direct line of the first. The joy of dungeon hack-and-slash, resource management and the tension of survival stay intact, more generous than in the initial game. The NES version curtails simultaneous multiplayer and the presentation has aged. A pick for fans of retro dungeon crawl with friends and lovers of the Gauntlet series.
