A Sega platformer starring Ronald McDonald - no joke. Solid gameplay, varied and colorful levels. Much better than any fast-food game has the right to be. A pleasant surprise.

Is Global Gladiators still worth playing in 2026?

A platformer from Virgin, Global Gladiators stars Mick and Mack, mascots of a McDonald's campaign, who clean up polluted zones with a goo gun, in colourful settings and careful animation. Beyond its advertising origin, the title shines with its lively art direction, its snappy pace and a solid level design that make it a good genre representative on the machine. The challenge is measured. For a retro platforming fan, someone curious about successful promotional games or a collector, the title keeps a visual charm and a real pleasure.
